So I have just hit the hour mark, and I thought that I would leave my thoughts on the situation regarding the “funnel”. My first MMO was WOW. I played it in middle school and didn’t get very far before I got tired of loosing my allowance to pay for the game. However, I thought that WOW was magical, and its system with leveled zones made me incredibly happy. I always felt such a strong sense of accomplishment after making it to the next zone, and, additionally, it was awesome to go back to previous sections and wreck everything that attacked you. I have only played the 2 Guild Wars MMO’s since then, however, they both failed to capture the magic of WOW’s system for me. Now, I have to say that above any MMO, I am an Elder Scrolls fan, and have played Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim. I love my Elder Scrolls, and want the same quality that I have seen out of previous TES games in ESO. However, would enjoy a bit of that “leveled zone” feel to the game, if only to put that old “magic” of WOW into an Elder Scrolls game. By the way, thank you Shoddy Cast for all y’all’s excellent work regarding ESO.
