Could you please make a survey for P2P vs B2P?

F11 is a cross console MMO and had a subscription based model for all platforms, so a P2P is still possible.

Has anyone else noticed that the casting style in the video footage looks remarkably like that of Skyrim and less like the said Oblivion style?

@Forlornian Just saw your post on Youtube. I agree with ya. But the mechanics of not having to have a “magic hand” is similar to Oblivion.

DCUO has a PS3 and a PC server. They use F2P for both, but have the option of P2P monthly subs at least for the PC side which give extra character slots, the DLCs as they come out, and a number of other perks designed to encourage people to take the P2P route, so ESO certainly could do the same.

    Answering your question about PS4:
I don’t play with the thought of buying a PS4. Basically because of the law suits Sony had. For instance, I am living in Germany and according to German law, if we buy something, it’s ours and we can manipulate it in any way we want. They tried to pass a court judgment prohibiting this possibility. Also, the original PS3 had an “other OS” function with wich you could start linux, but Sony later decided it was a system weakpoint and just removed it. Maybe it was important for my buying decision, still they removed it. Pretty damn sucks. And do I have to mention GeoHotz? I am boycotting Sony products. Also, I won’t buy an Xbox One. It actually inspired me to reread Huxley’s famous book “brave new world”. I think the days of consoles are numbered. Especially with the apperance of SteamBox and other simular easy ways of using a PC without having any knowledge. Also, I saw with joy that there will be a Mac OS port of the game. Not because I am a huge Mac fan. But because it’s architecture is quite simular to a linux architecture. The main difference lays in directX, that’s actually available for OSX, but not for linux without wine. So, I guess, thanks to Steam now supporting Linux, too, it’s just a question of time until OpenGL will be in a faster development and actually be a viable substitute for directX. Therefore, even Window’s days are numbered, at least for gamers. Although admitting that the number on windows is far bigger than the numbers on consoles.

Im very worried about the game now,

Im going too still get this game on pc but i feel with the confirmation that this game WONT be cross platform will further segregate an already thinly spread player-base,

Okay so i guess the real issue is the fact that by this titles very nature the player base is already split 3 ways with the alliances meaning i cannot play with my friends and family who happen too have their own preferred race, add too that the fact that now a lot of console gamers in our guild who had made the decision too try it on their pc are now saying they will get it on ps4 or xbox that’s now 3 different platforms further divided by 3 different ways individually (this is getting ugly)

Dont get me wrong im really happy for console users i only see problems not with the platforms themselves but more worryingly with the way this game is designed which scares the crap out of me,

We really need some kind of confirmation from zenimax that guild’s cross-faction (at-least) will have their alliance locks REMOVED listen im all for immersion and being able too pve with my dunmer and my brothers orc is not immersion breaking in fact in every elderscroll game so far their has been some kind of war going on yet within every province we had every single race represented , now for pvp i think the setup works but keep pvp in cyrodiil with an option too duel outside of there,

lets remove these chains and create a world that encourages freedom of choice and stop curtailing our experience,

    -Titan-
